Review: Hidden Bodies
Want it now? Order it here!
I was obsessed with You by Caroline Kepnes, so of course I had to read the next book in the series. With the movie of You coming to Lifetime and Netflix soon, I had to catch up on the rest of the series (so far) in preparation!
Check out the trailer for You!
No spoilers yet. But there will be spoilers below.
I love Joe. He is such a fabulous narrator. I consistently forget that he’s a bad guy and find myself rooting for him! If you love crime novels, I highly recommend You and Hidden Bodies. Joe, the narrator, is a stalker/killer, and his POV is so terrifying and fun.
Spoiler central…
OKAY, I have to gush!
- Love’s character is such a great addition. Just like Joe, I completely forgot Amy existed.
- THE MUG OF URINE SCENE. I ruined this book for my mother in my enthusiasm for that scene. I was so, so excited by that plot twist. Though my mom wants to read the series, I told her she has to wait a few years until she forgets what I’ve told her. I had to share my excitement with someone.
So, yes, this is a 5 Star book for me. I love Joe. My love for him knows no bounds. I just never want to meet him in real life…
Get it on Amazon for $9.

Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this book! What a great sequel to You. The plot twists were amazing. Joe is one of my favorite narrators of all time. I consistently forget that he’s a “bad guy” and find myself rooting for him. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series – and there has got to be more!

I need to read these!
I hope you enjoy them when you do!
Sounds like a good read. Hadn’t heard of this series before reading this post. Thanks for putting it on my radar.
I hope you read and enjoy it!
I love a good bad guy! Nice review!
Thank you! And of course, good villains are amazing.
I wants it – I fear you are going to be a bad influence on my already bloated TBR… 😉
There’s no such thing as a bad reading influence. 😉
Wow, a crime book from the criminal’s POV sounds intriguing and unique!
It really is a fun read. I’m interested in finding more books with a similar POV.
This sounds like one I need to read, adding to my TBR!
If you end up reading it, let me know!
The cover gives me claustrophobia xD. Great review though!
Thanks! And yeah, haha, I totally get that.
Great review!
Thanks! 😘
I’ve actually not heard of it before. Looks good though.
I hope you check them out! Or watch the show when it comes to Lifetime/Netflix.
