Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

With summer just a few weeks away, it’s time for some much needed and very overdue spring-cleaning. This week, as per the TTT prompt, I’m checking out my to-read shelf on Goodreads. These ten books were added to my TBR and I forget why… So now I’m removing them.
*Shortly after writing this post, I re-added It Ain’t Me, Babe to my TBR list for the 50 Romance Novel Reading Challenge.
Have you read any of these? Should I add them back to my TBR? Let me know!

Tillie Cole is on my list of authors I should really get around to reading. Trouble is that list is VERY big (aren’t they always) and my list of authors I currently read is so big it takes all my time!

I know the feeling!

Good for you for cleaning up your TBR!

I haven’t heard of any of these, with the only exception pf knowing the author Sarah Dessen!

But I love Anne Allen’s Guernsey books!

Some might end up back on my TBR, knowing me. 😂

The Darkest Star and Lumbersexual were both books I enjoyed! Someone Like You and The Hookup Handbook are both still on my TBR, which could use some cleaning up too.

Wallbanger was SUCH a fun read! You’re missing out if you get rid of that one…
Kate
Oh, everyone has been saying such nice things about so many of these that I’m sure most will end up back on my list! 😆

We’re bad influences… or good depending on how you look at it! 😉

I read Dangerous Waters, it was good. I am behind in the series though.

I haven’t heard any of those books before. Great list.
Here is my TTT.

This is what I will say about Wallbanger, which I have not read, but recognize from a Goodreads friend complaining about it: its 1-star reviews on Goodreads are enough to amuse me for days. On the bright side, it seems like you can very easily tell from said reviews if one person’s WORST THING EVER is exactly what works for you (some 1-star reviews have definitely pushed me towards books before).
On a happier note, Someone Like You is one of my favorite Dessen books.
Kate
That’s so true about 1 star reviews! 🙂
