After absolutely adoring Neon Gods, I was super excited to read Book 2 in Katee Robert’s Dark Olympus series, Electric Idol. This title completely blew me away and I liked Eros and Psyche’s story even more than Hades and Persephone’s!
I was very excited to read Neon Gods, a hit erotic romance novel that is a retelling of Hades and Persephone’s myth. I really enjoyed this particularly spicy romance and hope you will too!

I’m not into mafia romance, but Electric Idol really reminds me of one and still had me hooked. While this one doesn’t have the kinky sex dungeon to pull you in like Neon Gods did, the romance was phenomenal, the sex scenes were hot, and the writing was solid, something I didn’t feel was true with the first title in this series.
Eros is Aphrodite’s son and also her fixer. When she demands that he kill Psyche, Eros decides to marry her instead to keep her safe. The two marry just for their protection, but their fake affection quickly becomes real when sex and love intertwine. Ultimately, there’s only so much Eros can do to keep his wife safe with such a vengeful mother.
I absolutely adored this title and can’t wait to see what else Katee Robert does with the series. I’ve heard mixed review for Wicked Beauty but will be sure to read everything in this author’s backlist.

I loved this one even more than Neon Gods! Electric Idol is sweet and sexy. Psyche is a wonderful heroine and I loved her relationship dynamic with Eros. This one doesn’t have the kinky sex dungeon hook, but that doesn’t make it any less steamy or enjoyable.
