Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is “books with ____ on the cover”. After the recent drama in romancelandia where an illustrator seemed to think her cover had been stolen, I chose to list the last ten books I read with a “clinch” on the cover. Clinch covers are popular on romance novels and feature the couple touching, often in an embrace, and usually right before the big kiss. Some of these covers are certainly post- or mid-clinch, but I would consider them to be clinch covers nonetheless.
